I’m watching episode six, of season one, of Star Trek.
It’s the one where Kirk beams up from a planet, and not five minutes later, his evil doppelgänger beams up and proceeds to wreak havoc all over the Enterprise. It’s a malfunction in the transport system, causing anyone who beams up to split into good/evil pairs.
Later in the episode, the doppelgänger of the dog/unicorn/lion critter they brought back from the planet shows up, too. It’s super growly and snarly…so, y’know, wreaking havoc aboard the Enterprise.
Anyway…they tranquilized the growly dogicornion, and sent it back on the same beam pad (or whatever it’s called) as the gentle dogicornion. I was reeeeeally hoping it would come back with two butts. It didn’t, it came back dead, so then I felt horrible and sad and just overall really confused inside.
Now I’m at the part where they’re sending Kirk and tranquilized Kirk back on the same beam pad. It looks really funny because regular Kirk is holding a seemingly lifeless evil Kirk in his arms and smiling. It’s like a My Buddy and Me commercial.
I’m now hoping for Two Butt Kirk…don’t anybody ruin the ending for me…
